Before you start

Transportation

by Plane

You can reach Venice (Piazzale Roma) from the “Marco Polo” airport (VCE) by bus or taxi. Alternatively, you can opt for a scenic water route to Venice using the Alilaguna boat or a water taxi. Click here for further information.

by Train

The main railway station in Venice is Venezia Santa Lucia. Italy's primary train operators are Trenitalia and Italo, with services connecting Venice to major cities like Milan and Rome. Tickets can be purchased at the station, online through their websites, or via their mobile apps.

by Car 

Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto are the two areas in Venice accessible by car, with close-by parking terminals including:

  1. Autorimessa comunale
  2. San Andrea Car Park
  3. Garage San Marco
  4. Venezia Tronchetto Parking

Venice access fee

During the duration of the conference, entry to the city of Venice may be subjected to payment of the Venice Access FeeOvernight guests at accommodations within the Municipality of Venice are exempt from the access fee but must register on the portal.
